DRAYAGE AND TRANSLOADING MARKETS

Container Drayage

In drayage transport services, the containers carried usually stay in the same metropolitan area or close region. This is different than broader regional or national shipping. Drayage transport can often be completed in one driver shift. JRI transport experts specialize in providing both inbound and outbound freight options. With our hubs in coastal cities across the southeast, we are able to provide drayage from ships and planes to warehouses and visa-versa.

The Main Advantages:

  • Inbound Freight Options
  • Outbound Freight Options
  • Close Proximity To The Atlantic Ocean
  • Ability To Transport Directly From A Port To A Warehouse

Transload

Transloading transport services refer to transferring merchandise from one method of transport to another along a designated route. These services are typically more flexible and reduce costs and change depending on the transportation method used and the commodity that’s shipped. The JRI team provides transload services to warehouses as well as yard spaces. Some of the advantages of transload are:

  •  Time-Saving – combines multiple shipping methods to most directly access each of the shipping methods’ strengths and minimizes the downsides of each
  • Adding Flexibility – Regardless of rail, truck, boat, or plane, transload opens up a wealth of options for your transloading service needs and doesn’t pigeonhole you into a single type of transport
  • Providing Storage – Your merchandise can be stored for any amount of time needed and then loaded onto an outbound truck at the time you need it. Additionally, we can store your products in its warehouse or distribution center, fulfill orders under your direction, provide reverse logistics (returns) and much more.

Full Truck Load

When you need it fast and on time, Full Truck Load is the way to go! As opposed to less than a full truckload, a full truckload offers you the ability to secure reliable delivery by cutting out the “middle man”. This transport service option also gives you the versatility to ship everything from large equipment to pallet freight:

The Main Advantages:

  • Better end-to-end visibility
  • Fastest transportation
  • More control over the supply chain
  • Ship what you want altogether
  • You don’t have to share a truck with another shipper’s product.
